JumboPress is a custom WordPress system for Tufts University managed by the Digital Services team within the Office of Communications and Marketing. The JumboPress base theme has been customized to be compliant with the Tufts brand and web standard, designed to be modern and made responsive by using the Page Builder tool.
Services Provided to JumboPress Clients
Training. For any questions, please refer to the online manual. If you are new to JumboPress and learn better in the classroom, please log in to the Tufts Learning Center to sign up for the next available introductory class.
Manual & Resources. The JumboPress Manual includes step by steps instructions for all available features in the theme, as well as, videos for better understanding. There is also additional resources on third-party integrations and web best practices.
Support. JumboPress clients will receive support for the platform and trainings, and should identify a content owner and site administrator within the owning team. When submitting a support request clients will receive a response and time estimate for completion, with the goal of a response within 3 business days.
Maintenance. This will occur on a two month rotation. JumboPress clients will receive notification of maintenance 3 days in advance.
Disaster Recovery. JumboPress Support does not provide 24/7 site monitoring, any outages or major bug fixes will be performed as soon as possible usually within 1 business day.
